Education UK Certificate for Agents, United Kingdom
The British Council and the British High Commission has developed a certified training programme for agents promoting UK Education. The programme provides agents with a broad knowledge of the UK education system.This certificate is a qualification designed for qualified education agents by British Council to increase agents’ capacity to promote UK as a study destination.
The aim of the training programme was to develop knowledge of the UK education and training system, courses and qualifications at each level, Quality assurance mechanisms and how they operate. IELTS( International English Language Testing) IELTS or 'International English Language Testing System’ is an international standardized test of English language proficiency. It is jointly managed by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, the British Council and IDP Education Pty Ltd, and was established in 1989.
Given the high demand for the IELTS from all around the world the British Council maintains a network of Authorised IELTS Registration Agents whose role is to provide accurate information on the test and assist candidates with the application process.
British Council Registration Agents perform the following role on the behalf of British Council:
- Assisting candidates with the application process and collecting the test fee.
- Sending or delivering the application forms and corresponding fees to the Council before the deadline for Registration.
- Making arrangements for the appropriate delivery of their candidates test report forms.
